Let the world know - we have a price reduction on my Haiku Maui listing located at 400 Kulike Road.
The new price is $1,435,000. See the VIRTUAL TOUR for MLS#331603 right here.
This is one unique property, and I have not seen anything else quite like it here on Maui. It's located on the north shore, just about 10 or 15 minutes drive from Paia town, and ocean-side of the Hana Highway. The house is surrounded by acres of wild nature and there's almost 9 acres of land included with this parcel.
See that ocean view in the picture? You can access the bay by way of a foot path at the end of Kulike Road. Go spear fishing or swimming. Hey, put in your own Zip Line!
What are the utilities like you ask? This property comes with it's own private drinking water well, which is very important when there are no county water lines going by. Maui Electric and HawaiianTel serve the home, as well as satellite dish for TV.
If it's privacy you're after, then look no further. This house doesn't even have curtains or blinds! A long driveway and a gate ensure your privacy from prying eyes and traffic.

Hi Georgina...That picture is so inviting. Any time I can see water I'm sold.
You captured a wonderful sense of that home between the view and that great tree which acts as a canopy for those "come sit here and relax" chairs.

Georgina- I want to go right now! I want to buy this house right now sight unseen! Oh, perhaps Nestor will win the lottery this weekend:) 9 acres! WOW, the view is tremendous. The pathway a dream come true! I will be jealous of whoever gets to buy this treasure.
Georgina- Great Heading! Great Listing- apparently great listing agent also!
Definitely 'shout-worthy'. A dream house.
Gorgeous view Georgina- Everytime I see one of your pictures I'm taken taken back taken back in my mind to 96 when we spent 10 all too fast days on Maui. You mentioned the Hana Highway. Is that the road that at times is so narrow that didn't allow the rental cars to drive it? Of course we did. What a memory.
Georgina - This looks like heaven. I want to leave my life and go live there.
Sharon & Greg - yes you remember the Hana Highway - it's gotten a little better, but still only single lane in many places. Glad you have fond memories of Maui.
Thanks to everyone for the comments - I'll see you on your own blogs.
