The Maui Planning Commission is working on their long range plan for Maui.
In the next 6 months they'll be holding meetings where the public are
encouraged to attend. The first meeting will be held at the Haiku Community
Center on May 5th from 1:30 pm until dark. Topics of discussion will be New
Urbanism, growth boundaries, and zoning. Please make an effort to attend if
you're able, and give them some feedback.

Aloha from Maui... "I want to help you reach your Real Estate goals."

oh georgina my heart tugs everytime i see and read your maui blog - and then i see that shack for 300,000 - and I think..........probably not in this lifetime? :-(
Georgina,
I've referred several buyers to Hawaii; still can't believe the prices there.
Now that is a wide range of homes. So do you have a beach front 2 bed "detached" for 200K on the island?
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Georgina, I love the style of a newsletter to feature your listings. I think #2 would do it for me :) I can't even imagine SUNSHINE all year long!
Liz, that shack in the picture is really the garage. The home looks a little better, but the condition is still pretty run down. It is in escrow already.
Terry, feel free to ask me any questions about the market here.
Charles - quite frankly there's very little in that price range, oceanfront or not. I know of only a few detached oceanfront homes under $1M, and I wouldn't want to live in them.
Carole - it's a great way to be in touch with buyers who aren't quite ready to buy. I'm still waiting to see some sunshine, it's been really patchy for days... 11.5 inches of rain here in the past 3 days.
Best Wishes and Thanks.
