Those are some nicely dressed Hawaiian people depicted on those signs!  Did an artist handpaint over the signs to make sure the visitors can clearly make the distinction and to make them more inviting?

Georgina, are these new additions to the signs?  I didn't notice them when we were there much too long ago!  Actually it was 3 years ago.  At any rate, I love them!

Carole - I don't know, maybe all in black?  I know city people tend to be less colorful than here.

Diane - the man should have really long and baggy shorts to look more real
