Maui seems to be hit much harder than Oahu, with respect to bargain, low prices on condos. In the Honolulu area, where I specialize in the sale of condos, some neighborhoods are down but some are up. Why do you think Maui is suffering worse? My hunch is that Maui condo buyers are second and vacationhome buyers, primarily from California, where real estate values are down even further?
