I hope you'll find this a handy list of the top 11 private schools on Maui, ranked by number of students.  Kamehameha School has over 1,000 students, and St. Joseph in Makawao has under 100 students.  I have included the grade range and the annual tuition for each school.  Please contact them directly if you have any questions.

If you're relocating to Maui and need information on more than just schools, please contact me with your questions.  I am a local REALTOR® and I can help you with your move.  My contact info can be found at the bottom of this list.

I'm not a breeder either ; )), but that's a great list for new Maui residents.  Plus, I have a brother who lives in Lahaina, having a baby soon, who will be thinking about schoools in no time.  I'm going to forward him your post.  Mahalo. ; )

I am not a breeder either - lol.  But I know this info is important to those that are.  Douglas, thanks for sending this to your brother.

Here comes the breeder:) Mine are all out of school except our little one.

I saw a wonderful documentary about the  Kamehameha school. One of the wonderful traits of the Hawaiian kings and queens is that they wanted their people to be literate. At one time, Hawaii ranked back in the late 1800's as one of the most literate countries. Our Mormon missionaries went to Maui to teach the children and the grown ups how to read and helped the Hawaiians write down their oral language into letters. The king and queen visited the school to learn also. Rich history. Katerina
