How cool and how fun!  Can I fly to Maui to get my dog groomed?

This is a great recommendation. Good grooming places for dogs are tough to find. One time we had our knotted up hair American Eskimo taken into the vet for this and they practically just shaved the whole dog. It was terrible Georgina.

Sounds like a fun place for Kona.   As much as she enjoyed it, I'm sure she was glad you came back for her.

Georgina- I have to chuckle at this. I am not a dog person but when I was young my mom had dogs and we would never have thought to spoil them in this manner. I have a very bad taste in my mouth from living in Germany when I was little and they treated dogs better than kids. 

I have enough to do to keep my kids clean, much less a dog:)

Anyone who can bathe cats has to be good.  If my cat hears the water running she runs!  LOL

Since our cat is an indoor cat, the vet says to give her a bath every six months. Several cat books I have say the same thing. Fortunately, I'm not the one who bathes her, but I still have to listen to the howls. She hates the water.

I don't like to bathe cats either!  Unless I have leather arm guards... haha.  I always thought cats do a pretty good job of keeping themselves clean.  But my last cat did like to come by the garden when I had the hose and he'd let me give him a shower with a gentle spray!  that was kind of cute.
