Hi Georgina~ They are really cute goats! Too funny, you wouldn't expect to see goats in Maui, although I have never been there, so I wouldn't really know!
Georgina,
Goats? Cute, I've been there many times myself, yet I've never seen them myself.
Yes we have goats on Maui! These are really tame ones too. They were trimming the overgrown grass at a house for sale. We actually have a really good small goat dairy here (Surfing Goat Dairy), and I guess I should post a blog about that. Wild goats are also taking over some remote parts of the island, and it's open season most of the time.
Thanks for the comments!
They look like they want to play. I'll never forgot one time a goat started chewing on my wife's hair at a farm...I don't think she likes them anymore!
You got up close and personal with the goats, Georgina? The one in the second photo looks like he's very curious about your camera. I didn't know that there were goats in Maui. Do they surf?
Hi Georgina...Every place needs some goats and Maui's has some really cute ones.

Georgina, Goats on Maui, Chickens on Kauai, what's the world comming too...
Those are some very cute goats and thanks for the closeup!
VB ;o)
Georgina those are hilarious! You should turn the 2nd one into a 'Marketing Moment" group post! :-)
Georgina - I love these shots! They are so cute!
Debi
They look like exceptionally cute and clean goats -- very cute.
Georgina,
Watch out for the plants.... Goats love to eat!

Debbie and William - thanks for the reality check - It's been removed from that group. Actually there are enough words to get the post points, but you're right, not enough story to qualify as a "photo blog". Next time I'll get more talkative.
The camera is a Pentax Optio, a very good pocket size camera that I'm really happy with.
Oh, those goats are so cute! they look like they posed for the picture.
How cute they are!
Georgina,
Who brought the first ones to the island. They're pretty funny looking.
Rich
Georgina - they certainly are inquisitive ... they almost look like statues ... they do not seem to have moved from one picture to the next except for the upturned ear on one in the lower picture
in keeping with Liz's comment you could use the lower picture for
staging "we can help you with curb appeal" or " we can freshen up your yard"
home inspector "we will uncover the root cause of any issue"
real estate "can we help you"
What a cute shot!
Georgina,
Excellent shots. Thanks for giving us a little local flavor. Those are great looking animals. :)

Wow these goats are popular - they were standing up on a high wall, but were very curious so I snapped the pictures.
Thanks for the suggestions - I will have to make a marketing moment with these guys!
We are using herds of goats in our backcountry to eat the brush that burns each fall during fire season. In some places, the goats are being too successful; barren ground is subject to mudslides when the rain season comes.
Cute goats! I heard they are good lawn mowers:) Katerina
Hi Georgina,
Aren't they cute!! Thank you for sharing these great shots of the goats with us. I enjoyed them!
