Maui Blog - Georgina M. Hunter R(S): Friday Funnies - the American diet

Friday Funnies - the American diet

Friday Funnies - watch what you eat...

For  those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health.  It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional  studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fatJapanese noodle dish
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat

and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine

and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine

and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of  sausages and fats

and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION:

Eat and drink what you like.
Being American is apparently what kills you.

Oh my!  Now it's on.  We can eat, drink and not care about the outcome.  We're American!  And We'll Die American!  LOL

Live each day without regret, it may be your last.  Live like you'll need your body when you're 100, you might.

Georgina, I think you're right...within reason.  Those fatty, fried dinners cannot be good for you no matter how much you like it :)

Stress, STRESS and anxiety and a constant diet of "give me more" tv and advertising is killing us, not the food.  I do agree that laughter is always the best medicine and thank you for starting off my day with a belly laugh, and not a belly full of jelly laugh either--too much sugar.

Hi Georgina~  Very Funny!  But, you really are what you eat! Like Dr. Fuhrman says,  the Standard American Diet is just that ....... SAD!
