Open House Sunday in Kihei Maui Hawaii

I had a little time to kill this afternoon and managed to squeeze in some open house viewings in the South Maui area. There's a couple of nice newer side-by-side subdivisions, Kilohana Ridge and Keawakapu Views, which are just a short walk to Keawakapu Beach in Wailea. The single family homes in this area are in the 1,800 - 2,800 sf range, with a lot of single story homes, some with pools.
It wasn't that long ago that you couldn't find a home in here for sale under $1,000,000. Today I saw 3 great new listings that were all priced to sell and well under $1,000,000.

105 Ahekolo St. Kihei Maui HI - offered at $975,000
- 2-story
- huge covered lanai with ocean views
- open floor plan
- 4BD/3BA home

127 Ahekelo St. Kihei Maui HI - offered at $899,000
- single level
- 3BD/3BA home
- high ceilings
- private and tropical back lanai for indoor/outdoor living

165 Ponana St. Kihei Maui HI - offered at $985,000 today
- single level
- over 2,300 sf
- built in 2005
- many green features for energy savings

Georgina, beautiful shots and what a great day to have open houses :)
My sis and mom are going to Maui next month they are so lucky.

All the best at your open homes -- they look lovely.
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog!
After spending the last 2 weeks in Maui, I have to say I love the way the open house's feel. I can't explain how relaxed and inviting they were!
Please don't come back as a PROXY Error,
Paul
Georgina - very nice post and the open houses look like a great place to visit (or own).
Georgina - Your pictures and posts have inspired me to pack my bags and move to Maui!!!!!! Be there April 1st! :) ~Derek
Paul - lol I hear you on the proxy error!
Derek - that's funny, it was April 1st when we moved to Maui too... 30 years ago! You're very lucky!
Wonderful pictures! Beautiful properties!
Thank you very much for sharing.

It is so very beautiful there, Georgie! I lived there when I was a kid - and I have only been back once since then.

More beautiful Hawaiian property for sale! If I did not have my Granddaughter living so close I might be tempted to move out there - AND if you did not have those lava issues -
I lived just down the street on keonekai for 15 years, Mom still lives in Grand Champions in Wailea.
BJ - those lava issues are only on the Big Island - our lava has stopped flowing about 3 hundred years ago.
Andrew - that's so cool!
Thanks everyone for stopping by my Open House.
