It's Aloha Friday and we're heading over to the south side - to Wailea Maui. We have a date with the tax preparer, and then a dinner date!

Dinner is at Capische? Restaurant at the Hotel Wailea (formerly Diamond Resort). This will be a first time experience for us, and the have promised us a nice romantic table so we'll have an extra special time.
I already know that it's going to be fabulous, due to the excellent reports that the restaurant gets. The setting is outdoors, with a terrace overlooking a lush tropical garden. Seating is either on the terrace or down below in the garden.
The fare is Italian and features a lot of local products for freshness. I'll be back with a full report to post here later.
In the meantime you can check out their Capische? facebook page or their own Capische? website.
So what are you doing this weekend? Anything special?
Aloha from Maui - have a great weekend.

Georgina - Dinner date after seeing the accountant is splendid! I am having frozen pizza tonight with my Hubby :)
Hi Georgina~ I Love Italian Food! That scenery and your description are so inviting! You are making me jealous.... I guess I can't complain too much since my husband is preparing lobster and vegetables as I sit here reading and commenting!!!
Great photo! I love Hawaii. Have a great weekend!
I hope you'll remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!

I'm sure dinner will be much more enjoyable than the tax discussion. We're heading to the neighbors for dinner with a bottle of wine, they are having fresh tuna.
Hi Georgina, What a nice romantic dinner plans especially after the visit with tax man.Love that photo!!!
Well I have family visiting me for the weekend and we took a drive in the Chattahoochee National Forest then headed over for some of the best pizza and brew. Yum :-)
That is the best and worst of all possible worlds, tax man to romantic date. I hope it was all you hoped it would be. I do think that the moments we have in our life where we feel most alive is when we anticipate an outcome of a pending event and that event exceeds the anticipation. You are lucky to be surrounded by such beauty on a daily basis. Enjoy your weekend.
The dinner date was wonderful, though a little bit chilly sitting outside once the sun went down. Food was scrumptious. Beautiful setting and service. Expensive! All in all it was a good time though. I have pictures and hope to get around to posting them soon.
I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner. I look forward to the pictures.
Georgina - hope that tax date went well and that it did not ruin the following dinner date!
So who is the mystery date Georgie.
Steve - it's no mystery, just the dear old hubby.
