Where: located off Lower Kimo Drive in Kula Maui HI. Lower Kimo Drive connects from Kekaulike Highway above to Kula Highway below. This neighborhood is at about the 2,000 ft elevation. There is only 1 entrance to the neighborhood.
When: Kulamanu was developed about 15 years ago, and many homes have been built starting in the mid to late 1990's. Some are undergoing construction, and there are also vacant lots still available to build, at really great prices compared to past years. It's not too late to build your own dream home here.

What: Including Jacaranda Ridge, about 125 house lots are found in Kulamanu. Lot sizes are usually about 10,000 sf, and run as large as 22,000 sf. This development is on a pretty steep slope, making for some incredible views from almost all the sites. I'm talking about bicoastal views here, north shore and south shore, with the West Maui mountains in between. Many of these homes are situated far above the neighboring roof tops so you won't have to worry about your views ever being spoiled. Be prepared to spend a fair amount for ground work if you're buying a lot, as the ground is rocky making digging challenging.
