Silent Saturday - Vintage road signs - Sedona Arizona
Even Realtors have to take a vacation. So where does a Maui Realtor go for a change of scenery? This time it's to the Phoenix area. We don't see too many things like this back home on Maui.

Vintage road signs and other vintage signs are cool. I like your photos.
Very cool.
Kind of looks like Route 66 all bunched in one place.
Some of the vintage signs have bullet holes in them. But the collection is great.
Georgina, you crack me up! Where does a person who lives in paradise vacation? The desert?? Too funny but I also like the stark beauty of that past of the world a little at a time ;-0
and...I also like all the vintage signs signs! Have a great weekend!
I remember most if not all of those signs. Wow I am old...
I hope the sales come rolling in this weekend Georgina!

Georgina,
A lot of history right there. Don't think they ever finished that bridge to Hawaii so Route 66 stopped on the mainland. :)
Steve
Wow , have you seen the show American Pickers on the History Channel ??? They would love these signs !
thank for the comments. Now that things are back to normal I really appreciate you all stopping by.
Yes this part of the world is very beautiful. The dryness is a nice change too. Can you imagine if they had a bridge? How long would that take to drive? Those American Pickers guys would have a ball here.
Sedona is a gorgeous place to visit and live. I'm getting mainland fever and may be heading your way. Malama pono.
Georgina,
Love the photos, and your post is now featured on "Silent Saturday." Congratulations. :)
Steve
wow - those are indeed signs from the past that you don't see anymore - thanks for sharing!
Wow - a feature - Thanks Steve!
Leolinda - I got a case of that mainland flu too! So glad to be back home where the air is scented like rain! No more cracked lips!
Oh, I love Sedona! You have brought back so many memories.
Yes, I love Sedona too! Great place to vacation and quite different from Maui. Love the vintage signs of days past.
Love the signs. My husband collects old signs. You never think of anyone wanting to leave paradise. LOL (paradise to us anyway who don't live there)
