Hi Georgina, lovely banyan trees.  I guess the birds make a mess late in the afternoon.

Georgina, I love trees and pictures of trees.  That is a very cool picture.  So what happens later in the day?

All the birds flock together to sleep in the tree.  Then they all poop!  It can be very messy!

What great trees! I can only imagine what my nice black car would look like after a couple hours under that thing!

Not only is it messy, but the birds make a real racket as they settle down for the night.

Hi Geogina, the Banyan trees are lovely, but bird droppings are sure hard on a paint job.

Georgia ~ I used to park under those trees!  My mom and step dad belonged there.. Fred Herbert.  We lived in Kula Kai... so my heart belongs to Maui!  Thank you for posting in the Cosmic Cow Pie!

Georgina,

Banyan trees are beautiful and quite dense. Ever seen one uprooted and just yanked out of the ground by a storm? :)

Hello Georgina - Nice picture!  Thanks for the tip.  I would hate to make that mistake with a convertible!

I remember when I went to Maui, one of the many things I thought was so unique were the banyan trees. So unlike anything we have here in NC!

Georgina- We have Banyan trees here also. I love them, one of my favorite trees after the amazing Redwoods of Northern California. I have seen them uprooted from a hurricane!
