There's a lot of new condo listings coming on the market now, with 125 in the South Maui and Maalaea areas for the past month. This is partly due to a lot of inventory from the new development of Kai Ani in central Kihei, which is a mixed use project with living units and commercial spaces all together.

A sick Blainville's Beaked Whale was rescued off a Kihei beach on Monday and transported to the Hawaiian Cetacean Rehab Facility at the University of Hawaii-Hilo on the Big Island. The dehydrated and hungry whale has been the subject of testing, and is in stable but guarded condition, eating liquified squid. These rare marine mammals live in deep water and are hardly ever seen by humans.

Wow it certainly looks like are some great deals in Maui now. Do you think you have hit bottom, or are there still lots of short sales and foreclosures hitting?
