Keonekai Villages was built in 1992 on 15.45 acres, about 1 block away from the beach.  There's a total of 256 apartments in 27 2-story buildings.  Upper floor units usually have a lanai.  Ground floor units usually have a small yard.  All units have 2 bedrooms and at least 1 full bathroom.  Some units have an extra half bath, or even a full 2nd bathroom.  Most units have a dishwasher and stacked washer/dryer.  Long term rentals are allowed here, but not short term rentals.  Monthly maintenance fees are between $258-$342, and that includes water/sewer, grounds maintenance, and common area insurance.

It's a great place for a low priced starter home in South Maui, with quick access to the beach parks and shopping and dining.  There's even a small park right next door.
