Located right on the corner of Makawao Avenue and Baldwin Ave is Casanova Restaurant and Deli, one of the longest standing Makawao dining establishments. You'll love the fresh Italian pasta and Maui fish dishes, along with traditional wood oven pizzas and locally grown salads. Since 1986 this restaurant and deli and been serving upcountry diners and coffee lovers.

From their site: When Casanova Deli opened in November of 1986, it boasted the only espresso and cappuccino machine in Makawao. In fact, there weren't any espresso or cappuccino machines with in a ten mile radius. Equally as rare were hot made-to-order sandwiches and a good vegetarian lunch. Since then the morning ritual for many Upcountry residents isn't complete without a stop at Casanova Deli, whether it's a quick stop for a coffee to go, or a leisurely breakfast on the porch overlooking the slow traffic moving thru town.
The Deli opens at 7:30 am. Lunch is served from all day. Dinner is served from 5:30-9:30.
Live entertainment is also a feature at Casanova Restaurant in Makawao Maui. Over the years many well known artists have performed to a small crowd in this casual atmosphere. Entertainment and dancing happens on Wednesday night (the famous Ladies Night), and Friday and Saturday nights.
You know, I could go on and on to tell you about how wonderful it is, but these guys are smart and they made some excellent videos too. I think you'll agree that the following videos really show what's going on here, especially the night life scene.
