Wailuku Maui HI - down on Main Street snapshots
Here's some casual snapshots taken on Wailuku's Main St. yesterday. Downtown Wailuku Maui has some unique old buildings mixed in with the new, reminiscent of a bygone time.

You can get a good feel for the old Wailuku on First Fridays every month when Market Street merchants roll out the red carpet for an evening of entertainment and food specials.

I really liked some pics you posted like this awhile ago... This are great too!
To me, the charm of some of these great little places in Hawaii, is that they aren't on the tourist trap agenda. They have kept more of their cultural integrity. I love it!
Very cool photos! It looks like you played around with some special filters to enhance them?
Chris - thanks! Just having fun with my iPhone apps.
Myrl - you're right. It's nice to get off the usual route and discover some real treasures on Maui.
Michael - yes, I have way too many apps to list here, but I use Hipstamatic and Iris Photo Suite a lot.
Thanks for your comments!
Well somebody has been playing with her iPhone camera again! I love how you change the photos!
Looks like I need to go to Maui again and visit this street!
