Maui Film Festival June 15-19 2011 is going to be a blast!
Once again the much anticipated Maui Film Festival gets underway on Wednesday June 15th with 5 days of films and events to please anyone. Films will show in Wailea and at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
The kickoff night at the Celestial Cinema in Wailea includes an appearance by Megan Fox and Jack McCoy. This outdoor venue under the stars brings hundreds of people out to enjoy a first-run film on the grounds of the Wailea Golf Course. Bring a blanket or beach chair and purchase food and beverages right there. Stay for the double feature if you can stay awake!

Georgina - This sounds like it's going to be a great event.
Georgina-Can you answer a tough question for me? What in Maui is not a blast? It's my favorite island although we do not get there as often as I would like.
Georgina - this event is one of the HUGE enticements to attract Arizona tourism over to Maui during our hot (to put it mildly) summer months. Like we need any more incentive than your wonderful weather, ocean views, and great hospitality, LOL. Looks like they've got a good thing going.
Juli - i never thought about tourists coming from your area to Maui, but you're right, this would be a good time to come.
