Aloha Friday - classic VW on Maui
What does a VW have to do with Maui real estate you ask? I snapped this in front of my Wailuku residential listing the other day at final walk through. It's a classic Volkswagen Bug and check out the plates!
The owners of the SOLD home are very happy to be closing a sale in this tough economy, and walking away with money in the bank. It was a quick sale to a cash buyer from the mainland. The wife said "I can't believe it sold so fast!"
Buyers and sellers can be happy with the results when working with a good Maui Realtor. If you need a tried and true friend who will get you to the closing table on time, count on this Maui Realtor to get the job done. Georgina M. Hunter.
Just like a VW!

I love vw bugs. I think that is a 1967 bug. How did you take that photo? It looks like an old slide photo.
I always wanted a convertible VW bug! One day I will get a lime green one.
Georgina - Congrats on the closing! My client who relocated from HI this year was also able to walk away with money, they're very lucky sellers because most aren't.
Comparing yourself to being truly reliable... OK I understand.
John - I used an iPhone and the Hipstamatic photo app! It's great for making retro looking snapshots.
Sussie - woohoo, lime green would be nice!
Michelle - you're right it's not so easy these days especially if you have only owned the home a few years.
Stan - glad you got the analogy!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Great photo and congrats on the sale of the home... Need to get and visit your beautiful state!
Congrats on the sale of your home. I like the tie in to the VW.
Great analogy, Georgina - when it's priced right, it will move!!! Just like that little beetle bug!!!
Georgina, that is a great analogy and a sweet VW Bug!
Nice photo -- looks to be in wonderful condition. An old bug drove past me the other day. They had shed the regular paint job and had it painted 60's hippie style with a lot of graphics and slogans. It was fun to see on the road!
That "Little Bugga" is a classic! Congratulations on the sale Georgina. Add another happy client to your ever growing list of happy clients!
Hey, Georgina! It looks like a 66 bug. My first car was a 69 Bug. Very reliable, just like you..:)
Great photo and a great story! Congratulations on the closing! Glad to hear things are going well there!
Georgina, I am of the age that I can remember putting quite a few miles on a similar VW and what a great testimonial for your good work!
Hi Georgina. I would lay odds that you had one of those at some point in your life.
Georgina-That is a classic. We have a neighbor who has one of these vintage bugs. Wish I'd been smart enough to have bought one years ago and just kept it in storage.
Well this old car sure got a lot of response! Thanks everyone for chiming in, and I hope you're enjoying this Father's Day!
