Beautiful rainbows from Maui Hawaii, and a beautiful song too
Today it's raining in Haiku Maui which makes me think of rainbows. We have been blessed with some stunning rainbows lately here on the north shore of Maui, which means things are growing and green.
A little rain every morning, and some scattered showers through the day, what more could you want?
That's our wind generator spinning furiously and making power for our home. We love the wind!

I just love "Over the Rainbow". Cari and me have one of IZ's CD's from a trip. It always brings back memories. Great rainbows.

Georgina....VERY NICE! the video of IZ; did I get the correct message that IZ has passed on? What a great voice; and in some of those shots of him, he looks like the image of [don't know the Hawaiian words for this] 'headman of some Island in days gone by'--did go over to YouTube and was shocked by some comments by viewers. Sad that some must use put-downs.
When I came back to this site, the video that you had posted for IZ would not come back up; Really hope that I did not cause that to happen.
So sorry if that was my fault. Hope that you can fix it.[ just saw that all is well, gratefully]

Thanks everyone! Yes the video still works just fine. Brudda Iz passed away a few years ago and that is his ashes they are casting into the ocean at the end of the video.

Georgina - what a beautiful video and lovely voice. He must have been extremely young when he passed on. That celebration with all of those people when his ashes were put into the ocean, he must have been extremely popular. That is how I want to go as well, ashes into the ocean.
