I know this guy... his name is Bernie.  Every once in awhile he actually turns INTO a pickled mango... or something similar.  I wonder if he has evern been to the islands ?

Seriously... this sounds wonderful.  I assume you are aware of how fortunate you are to live where you do.  Yum !

I'm sooooooo jealous. We get mangos from Mexico but it's just not the same!  I'm thinking about going to farmer's markets; it is just easier to hit the grocer but I bet I'd find better deals and have more fun. Mahalo.
