Ahh...Gerogina. A trip to Yee's orchard sounds refreshing. I would love to try pickled mango...
Georgina - Suddenly, I'm feeling tropical and fruity. I can't imagine why : )
Doug - it's good stuff, they use the greener fruit that's still firm.
Christine - cha cha cha!
Thanks for your comments.
I know this guy... his name is Bernie. Every once in awhile he actually turns INTO a pickled mango... or something similar. I wonder if he has evern been to the islands ?
Seriously... this sounds wonderful. I assume you are aware of how fortunate you are to live where you do. Yum !
Georgina, looks like a great place for some fresh fruit!
I'm sooooooo jealous. We get mangos from Mexico but it's just not the same! I'm thinking about going to farmer's markets; it is just easier to hit the grocer but I bet I'd find better deals and have more fun. Mahalo.
I love mangos! Too bad by the time they reach us here in NC they taste more like potatoes! Yet another reason I need to get back to Maui!
I could use a fruit cup right about now and they are healthy too!
Maui mangos are way better than Mexican ones! Come on over and load up your basket with Maui mangos!
Hi Georgina - what great photos and the mangos must be amazing!I am going to have to plan a trip soon to Maui!
Pickled mangoes? I have eatten them fresh from the trees for years but have NEVER heard of pickled mangoes!
