The whales are back to Hawaii for 2011/2012 winter season

This video from last season shows how close you can get while whale watching from a boat.

The season's first whales have been spotted of the Big Island of Hawaii a few days ago.

Georgina....awesome.  I loved my time in Hawaii.  The whales, as well as the dolphins, are really just icing on the cake to a visit there!

Your video is amazing. I'm going to show it to my daughter. It's like the whales are putting on a show for everyone. I did get to see some whales in Alaska a few summers ago, but it was only the Orca Whales. It looks like you have at least two kinds.

Wow!!!  That was an awesome video of the whales.  It's been many years since I've been whale watching.  They are incredible to watch!

Thank you.  Have a splendid weekend in fabulous Hawaii!!

That is so awesome. We had a chance to see that many years ago and it is still in our mind. I love to see the whales.

Hi Georgina,

This video is wonderful. We see them on our cruises to Alaska but they do not typically get as close as your video. They are amazing animals and thanks for sharing.

They are such amazing and beautiful creatures! You are lucky to have them so close to your shores!

Georgina:  AHHHH, you made my day!  C. Lloyd re-blogged and I jumped over to let you know.  Whales are such awesome creatures and you never know what kind of show you will get when you go whale watching.  I go at least once or twice a summer while vacationing on Cape Cod, MA.  It's so breath taking to see whales and babies playing in the ocean.  I too am Suggesting.
