Whale Watching Infographic - Humpback Whales on Maui

Every year the humpback whales come to Maui for the winter season, much like many people who live in the colder climates.  They have the right idea, don't you think?

Hi Georgina, my sister and I were going to come to Hawaii this coming January just to watch the whales, but she has some financial difficulties, so we aren't coming.  Thanks for the poster.  Very informative.

Liz - that's too bad you had to cancel your plans to come to Hawaii.  But I'm glad the poster helped ease the pain.  Maybe the following year your plans will materialize!

I've seen the Orca Whales, but not Humpbacks. I hope to get to the islands someday soon. I would like to take a winter break vacation and visit the islands with my family. I've been there, but they haven't.

Debbie - I've seen the humpbacks, but not the orcas!  They are all pretty incredible creatures!  I think you need an island getaway with the whole family.  If you come this winter you should be able to get pretty good deals on places to stay and activities.  I hope you can make it!

WOW is just about all I can say! I have never seen a live humpback and can imagine it is breathtaking!

It has been cold here at Canyon Lake and the Texas Hill Couontry the last few days; I'm ready for some warm weather. Maybe we need to plan a trip to Maui.

Hi Georgina--Every morning I'm walking the beach still waiting for my first whale sighting of the season.  I hear they are finally back off the south shore of Maui, but have yet to see one.
