Interesting, Georgina.  For me, I like your natural beautiful photos the best.  These were a little hard on the eyes.  Sorry.  Although I always love that you're trying out new effects - it's interesting to learn where you get your photo editing techniques.

Georgina, Maui is such a wonderful place for great photos.  So what is a tilt shift generator anyway?

Thanks for the comments!

Juli - sorry!  it's the oversaturation that's a little hard on the eyes.

Patricia - Tilt shift is the technique that focuses on a small part of the picture and blurs the rest, making it have the effect of miniaturization.  It's especially effective for long distance pictures.  Don't know why it's called that.  Just a fun way to play with pictures.

LOL, no need to apologize.  I LOVE that you're sharing different techniques with us and forcing me to expand a little on the limited photo taking knowledge I have.  You ALWAYS take such great photos and share so much with us. And, I have to admit, that your wonderful Maui area has so much beauty to photograph.  I wish that the last time I was there, I had a digital camera - too many years ago, LOL.  Maybe my next visit.

Another great post, Georgina - by the way, I will be adding links like you suggested once my new website goes live............they have been working on it for over a month and I am getting impatient!

Georgina: Of all the islands that we visited, we loved Maui the very best. Why? I don't know. There was just something different about it....

Those pictures were something else! At first I thought that they were architectural demos. Now I understand that they are not!
