Paia Maui Fourth Friday celebration in February 2012 - Mardi Gras style
FOURTH FRIDAYS: Once a month the merchants in the little beach town of Paia Maui go out of their way to make a memorable event for island residents and visitors. Shops stay open late and special events are planned, including live music and entertainment. There are so many good restaurants offering everything from pizza to formal dining, that it just makes sense to spend a whole evening in town.
In February the theme was Mardi Gras which makes for a lot of fun. Check out this short and lively video produced by the son of a shop owner. You have to admit that Paia can really get rocking when the sun goes down.
I hope you enjoyed this little video slice of life from Paia Maui Hawaii. It's a culturally diverse town on the north shore of Maui where you never know what you'll see.

What a RIOT, Georgina. Although, I'm beginning to think that people in Hawaii will do anything for a party!!! Wish I was in Maui right now.
Paia looks like one cool place to call home. Life is a gift and living it to its fullest is the way to go. Thanks for sharing.
Georgia,
The women are light on their feet, the men are on fire! Everybody is entertaining - even the spectactors!
