Those are both wonderful, informative and beautiful posts and I can see why they were featured, congrats.

I'm doing more posts for Localism these days and enjoy writing about neighborhoods and things to see.  100 agents in my area all do marketing reports but very few are doing the same pieces that I am.  Great posts!

Georgina, getting featured on Localism gives you the best of both worlds from the offerings of Active Rain.  You get great points on the system, and the most visibility to the public.  Congratulations!  I've written several posts about different neighborhoods and these seem to garner the most Google juice.

Georgina, those were BEAUTIFUL posts and the features were well deserved.   I especially loved the header shot on your park post - WOW!

I think it is good you are writing local content about Maui.... that may be part of the reason it is getting featured also. I know there has not been a lot of content for that. I went on a trip to Maui a few months ago and I went to localism to get some ideas - at the time I only found 1 post with helpful info about visiting Maui.

Karen - I have gotten into the habit of taking my camera everywhere, to the point of being annoying to my husband.  He is now used to me saying " I can blog that!"

Peggy - Sometimes I'll get one started and save it as a draft, while I work on getting pictures together.  Othertimes the pictures will inspire the post.  Whatever it takes.

Jason - it's very easy, and will find lengthy discussions on how to do it in the Newbie group, or just fumble around with the tool bar at the top and click on the little tree icon and take it from there.

Georgina, congratulations on the features in Localism. I loved meeting you and sharing lunch at my favorite place, Mama's Fish House. Active Rain is a great place to find and get to know other Realtors from all over. And blogging brings you lots of google juice...enjoy!
