There have been 37 closed sales of condos on the south shore and Maalaea since Sept 20.  There are only 54 condo listings coming on the market in the same time period.  At this rate we'll run out of condos to sell pretty soon.  So what's hot and what's not right now?  The following condos all recently SOLD in under 100 days from list date to recording date... that's hot.


1.  Southpointe at Waiakoa 10-103, North Kihei  SOLD for $152,000.00
- 2BD/1.5BA ground floor unit with small yard and no ocean view, maintenance fees about $395/month
- sold without being listed, with the help of a REALTOR

2.  Hale Kanani 1-105, Central Kihei  SOLD for  $306,000.00
- bank owned 2BD/2BA ground floor apartment with garden view, sold for more than asking price
- in good condition with all appliances and window coverings, pets allowed

3.  Kai Makani 24-201, North Kihei  SOLD for $320,000.00
- second floor 2BD/2BA condo with mountain view and across the street from the windsurfing beach
- this was the smaller floor plan of 823 square feet, cash buyer

4.  Kai Makani 34-102, North Kihei  SOLD for $450,000.00
- ground floor 2BD/2BA condo of 1,075 square feet with garden view
- central AC, 2 parking stalls, beautiful grounds, large pool and spa with fitness center

5.  Grand Champions 38, Wailea SOLD for  $500,000.00  
- 2BD/2BA 3rd floor vacation condo with 1BD/1BA lock-out unit, high ceilings, small ocean view and large lanai
- it was a short sale and it sold quickly - it can happen

6.    Hale Kai O Kihei II A315, Kihei  SOLD for $538,000.00
- direct beachfront 2BD/2BA vacation condo with great views and setting, 2nd bedroom on ocean side 
- perfect location away from the busy roads, yet close to shopping and dining 

7. Ke Alii Ocean Villas E202, South Kihei  SOLD for $545,000.00

8. Kihei Surfside 211, South Kihei SOLD for  $565,000.00

9. Wailea Ekahi III 50D, Wailea  SOLD for $720,000.00

10. Kai Malu 55B, Wailea  SOLD for $1,295,000.00

I know prices are different across the nation. Those are some sky high prices! I could never afford to live in one of those no matter how much I would want one!

By the way, Ohana Cafe IS a family run business - they are Hawaiian and it is probably the friendliest place to eat I have EVER been. I love it there.
