What a nice surprise to find this great farmers market in Kula, on Lower Kula Road.  Nui Mizel is the Thai woman who makes it all happen, along with her son Kit, and they grow a lot of their own vegetables right here on this 40 acre Kula farm.  She's a hard working woman who plants crops, cooks wonderful Thai food and helps to feed a lot of Maui people.

There's a great selection of fruits and veggies, herbs and flowers, from this farm and other farms.  So be sure to drop by on Thursdays, or weekends.  Plenty of parking and the views are great too!

You can call Nui at 808-280-6166

Hi Georgina, When I first read this, I thought it said Nut Farmer and I was going to say I know a couple of them, LOL. When I re-read the title I realized it wasn't Nut farmer but Nui's Farmers Market. Well, the photos are wonderful and Nui Mizel sounds like a wonderful person to do all this.

I love purchasing at the local farmer's markets and co-ops for items that I do not grow myself. No Monsanto in my food if I can help it!

Local food, that you know where it came from, how it was grown is a very very good thing.
