    Want to buy or rent a Harley when you come to Maui?  This is the place!  Right on Dairy Road in Kahului close to the airport.  The only Harley dealership on the island, Cycle City Maui/Maui Harley Davidson also sell Audi, Kawasaki and Vespa...  cars, bikes, watercraft and scooters.  They'll also take your trade-in for a new vehicle.  The service department is top notch.  The retail shop sells helmets, leathers, t-shirts and other accessories. 

    This store is leading the way in energy efficiency.  The whole roof is covered with solar panels that are used to make ice, which melts and circulates through an air conditioning system to cool the shop inside.  More panels are soon to be added to help them be even more independent of imported oil.

    This is sweet Georgina! I am going to have to rent one of these AND a driver when I come to Hawaii! Thanks for keeping us up to date on the renewables your state takes advantage of! Have you found out what kind of a difference this makes for them in energy bills?

    Mary, I will have to check on that.... I know they have been very happy, and that's why they're going to expand with another whole rack.  I hope the profile picture is intriguing.... and will entice some consumers to inquire.

    Mary - finally getting back to you about their energy bill.  We had a very wet and cloudy winter even in this town.  When the sun didn't shine the difference in the monthly bill was $8000.... how's that!
