Have you ever wished you could just save one or two pages from that multiple paged document?  There must be an easy way.  Well there is.  I Googled it, and found a very simple solution for Mac users.

  1. locate the document in its folder, or on the desktop
  2. right click document and open with PREVIEW
  3. a dialog box opens and little pages appear in pane on the right
  4. select the page you want and drag it to the desktop
  5. save that page and give it a name

There you go, it's just that easy.

Buying a home on Maui can be almost this easy....

Incredibly handy advice; thanks for the tips!  I'm on Mac and PC... I always loved how mac just lets you make a .pdf, no extra software to buy!

Everything is easy when you use the Apple products:) and a good agent to assist you with a home buying/selling process:)

Georgina...I'm so glad I caught this.  I've been using pdf escape to manage this function.  Key point I've noticed is opening the document in 'preview', (not Adobe Reader!).  Never thought of working it that way. Thank you!

Hi Georgina - Oh, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. This is one that drives me bonkers - the question is - why didn't I Google it? Good grief. :)

Preview is also how I change PDF to JPEG and visa versa.

You deserve the star. :)

Wow!  That is incredibly easy and much less complicated than my PC.  This tip should save a lot of time.

Posted by Bryan Robertson, Broker, Author, Speaker (Intero Real Estate) about 5 years ago

I might have to go run out and buy a Mac just for that. It's a lot more cumbersome on a PC or at least the way I do it. Basically cutePDF each page as a separate document. Not bad if it's just a couple page document, but if you're trying to break up a large document it can take some time.
