Mana Foods in Paia Maui is expanding and improving

Mana Foods in Paia Maui is expanding and improving.  Over the past year or more the little health food store in Paia has been undergoing a lot of changes.  Last summer they added on to the south side of the building, and this summer they have been adding on to the north end.  It's no wonder, as this is a very popular and busy grocery store on the north shore.  They have been a good part of the community for over 30 years!

Call them at 808 579-8078    49 Baldwin Ave. Paia HI 96779

New addition to Mana Foods in 2015

We love to shop here for a lot of items that are so much cheaper than other stores.  Teas, potato chips, cooking oils and chocolate are just a few of the items for sale that are priced competetively.  The vegetable department features a lot of local produce and they are very good about buying from small farmers.  If you have a fruit tree that bears abundantly, you can bring in your excess and they'll buy it from you.  Maui has a lot of backyard farmers, so the variety of tropical fruits is quite amazing... things like longans, rambutans, lychee, dragon fruit, and jackfruit.  You don't find food like that just anywhere.

Find a home in Haiku Maui and grow your own fruit trees.

Mana Foods carries a wide selection of foods and household items.  You can get earth friendly cleaning supplies, organic cotton clothing, not-toxic cruelty-free cosmetics, and small gift items from around the world.  The vitamin room carries an extensive array of dietary supplements.

They also have a great deli and salad bar.  This department has grown a lot, and the hot or cold food selection is tremendous.  Pizza, soup, burritos, burgers, sushi, spring rolls, and on and on.  Something for every appetite and dietary persuasion.  The deli is always a busy spot.  On top of all this they also have a bakery making organic breads and pastries.

Hi Georgie Hunter R(S) - This is a very busy market.  It is nice to see the expansion.  However, how is the parking?  Any improvements there?

Thanks for your comments!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE  Unfortunately the parking in Paia is still kind of challenging... unless you want to pay a buck or two and park behind Charley's.  It's a matter of timing, and if you can get there before school lets out, you have a much better chance at the free parking.

Hi Georgie, Nice when a place grows instead of closing.  May it maintain its wonderful small market feel and service.
