Luxury oceanfront 2 acre lot with the WOW factor - Haiku Maui HI

What's so special about 460 Ho'olawa Road?  In a few words:

  • off the grid and independent
  • oceanfront and towering over the Pacific ocean and crashing waves below
  • 1 of only 5 lots in Ho'olawa Point Subdivision
  • great neighbors who will be an asset in the long run
  • mostly level and all usable prime AG land
  • remote and removed from the rest of the crazy world

Can you see yourself building a beautiful retreat here at the end of the road?  This subdivision has a water well that's shared amongst the 5 owners, but you can also implement your own water catchment system for extra water security.  Power will be by way of a PV (photo voltaic) system and maybe even some wind in the mix... it's a windy bluff and wind power could be a great asset.

It's AG land on Maui, so what does that mean?  It means you can build a main house of any size, and a secondary farm workers dwelling too, or in other words, 2 homes.  You can build barns, storage buildings, garages, etc. as needed.  A farm plan will be required when you apply for a building permit, and with the current fencing and stock tank in place, you're already there.

If the world all goes to hell, this is a safe bet for a luxury estate on Maui.  Buy this property and you're well on your way to being self sufficient.  The price?  If you have to ask you probably can't afford it.  Let's just say it's around $1.5M, and money well spent for a very private and unique oceanfront retreat.
