Everyone looks forward to this time of year on Maui, when the winter swells bring big waves to the north shore.
Here we are at Ho'okipa Beach Park on a sunny day with tourists and locals all enjoying the weather and the waves. The beach is such a magical place where you can leave your troubles behind and just have some fun in the water. Be careful in the ocean though!

I'm sure folks in Maui and enjoying the winter swells and surfing.
Unfortunately my one trip that timed me for the Pipeline contest yielded poor surf for that year. I still need appreciate the 'Big' Hawaiian surf thru pictures like yours. Thank you. Mark

It is indeed beautiful but winter water is always cold water! I won't even go into our 65 degree winter water here in Florida.
