Georgina - love the photos!!!! Finally got back to check them out!!!
Hi BJ - Now I'm saving up my money to get one of these beautiful rugs.
Hi Georgie!
I checked these rugs myself. They are all really beatiful. The salesguy claims that they were made in the 1800s and I have some trouble accepting that as being accurate information. I am just thinking that between the daily 1800 's life and making carpets and some of them being used in the family and damaged, etc, the whole population of Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan must have made carpets all day long, since there are so many available now, two hundreds years later, in Maui!
I dont know how authentic they are, but they are definitely beautiful....
Hey who is that? hehehe Maybe some of them are old, but I got the impression that they are making new ones, as some are custom crafted to have an "island theme". There is a blue one with wavy lines, like the ocean.
