It's a picture from last year but it's worth sharing... this giant guitar of Willie Nelson's is featured at Charley's Restaurant in Paia Maui.  You can see it yourself when you're touring this cute little beach town on the north shore of Maui.

Charley's is where Willie likes to eat breakfast, and play to small crowds when the mood strikes him.  Did you know he has a home nearby?  Stop in for something to eat and you'll be greeted with friendly smiles from the staff.  There's a wide selection of food on the menu, and they have a lot of seating.  You never know when you might bump into a local celebrity on Maui.

Search the Maui MLS for Paia homes for sale.

Georgie, what a great post and he also has an amazingly simple life style... when he was in Los Angeles, I never forget instead of staying in the five star hotel that he had his staff stay, he remained in his Traveling Bus in the parking lot:))Endre

That's quite the guitar, and story, Georgie.  I'm fond of Willie Nelson tunes.

What a wonderful place! If I ever find myself back in Maui, I would definitely check this out.

Georgie, that is very cool.  Years ago, my daughter was modeling and her agent gave her tickets on stage to see Willie Nelson.

He is a true giant in country music so a big guitar goes without saying.

I did not know Willie Nelson lived there. I think it is the perfect place for him to relax :)

I like Maui as well as Willey Nelson. If I ever get back to Maui, I will certainly have breakfast at Charleys.
