Best table in the house - our view from Mama's Fish House on Maui

We are very lucky to live close to one of the best fine dining restaurants on Maui, so whenever possible we love to have an early dinner or late lunch here at Mama's Fish House Restaurant.  During the daytime the views are just beautiful from this oceanfront setting, and when you have a front row table this is as good as it gets.

Mama's Fish House - Paia Maui - best views!

On this afternoon the air was very clear and you can see the island of Molokai way off in the background. There's a little sandy beach in front of the restaurant, and plenty of coconut palms, making for some nice photo opportunities for diners inside and outside. I've probably bored you enough times already with pictures of this location as well as the food pictures, but what's one more?

The north shore lifestyle on Maui includes great dining, lots of sandy beaches, boutique shopping and world class yoga studios. It's a healthy place to live and grow.

Now THAT is a view worth going out to eat for! Hawaiian restaurants with wonderful views are one of my favorite things about the islands.

Georgie, clear back in 2007, we dined there. We got lucky enough to rent a fully furnished private residence just a few miles from there. Gosh, it was truly heaven! And I recall someone telling us that we HAD to eat at Mama's Fish House, so we did. It was mentioned to us that it would be very expensive but so worth it and it was. Can't bring any of it up in my long-ago memories except that we were not disappointed in the least.

You never tire me by sharing your Maui experiences, because it takes me back to such great memories, ALWAYS.

Gorgeous views, Georgie.  I wish I could step into that scene in the second picture, and linger for a couple weeks.

How beautiful. I was in Maui many years ago, and have a bunch of photos just like that! What a gorgeous spot.

Hi Georgie -- Maui is a wonderful place to visit -- beautiful sunsets.  And beautiful sunrises.  Actually, I'm not sure I didn't see anything beautiful when I have visited.   You have captured it well.

Palm trees dancing on the beach. Give me a hammock so I can take a nap.
