Green utility box in Vancouver BC

I love how this "box" was camouflaged into the surroundings so it wouldn't have to look ugly.

Taken in Vancouver BC, which is a big city that knows how to put its best face forward.  Every season brings out beautiful colors and textures, and the changing landscape is wonderful to behold.  People in this city really love to garden and they take pride in the surroundings.  Maybe we could all learn something from a simple act such as this.

I haven't seen anything like it, and I love it!  Sure beats looking at a sterile grey metal thing.

Hi Georgie, hope all is well in your world. We both love Vancouver BC - it's truly a beautiful city. As evidenced by your photo, they take their ascetics seriously. :)

What fun - and how clever to disguise an ugly trash can by making it so pretty! Vancouver is a wonderful place to visit!
