Salad greens from my Haiku Maui garden

Salad greens from my Haiku Maui garden - find a home for sale in #HaikuMaui

I love my garden and all the great food it provides.  I love spending time harvesting, but also planting and weeding too.  It's great exercise and it feels so good to be outdoors and amongst all that greenery.

Thanks for reading my Maui blog...

That looks good enough to eat Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089   LOL

My hubby and I enjoyed a delicious spinach salad with shrimp for dinner.  I'd say we had grown the spinach, but that would be a did come from the organic market though!

Hello Georgie,

I do remember seeing your title but it wasn't until now that I was able to come over to comment, that looks yummy and so fresh!

WOW, what a beautiful photo, Georgie, and your garden must be spectacular if the salad greens are any indicator.  Today is my 18th day on the Paleo Healthy Eating Challenge.  Wish I had that garden of yours in my back yard. Have a feeling I would be very successful in this challenge.

Georgie, That looks wonderful!  My salad this evening pales in comparison to the greens you have from your garden! Good that you take advantage of the climate to help put food on your table.

Thanks again for all the nice comments.  While these salad greens have come and gone, I actually did my first micro-harvest on the next crop of salad greens today.  It's tedious work, snipping tiny leaves with scissors, but kind of fun and rewarding... and with a hurricane coming it's a good idea to get what I can before the rain hammers it all into the ground.
