Dear Diary,
This morning we had a chance to preview our new vacant land listing in Kailua - past Huelo. What a beautiful spot! Gorgeous views of the ocean.
Sellers have cleared a nice prime homesite, and will include some building plans for a 3BD/2BA single story home.
It's almost 3 acres, for $485,000. This would be a great place to build a Maui dream home, very quiet and private. No road noise. There's even a really cute storage building, with views too! EZ to show - just go!
* Send some pictures to buyer prospects looking for privacy, acreage, views. This is a good one.
There sure are some good deals on Haiku land for sale right now - prices have come way down from a few years ago. I don't know why buyers aren't snapping up these deals. How long can it last? I remember when we bought ours - it seemed SO high at the time, but now we just laugh! I guess it always feels expensive when you're buying and it's hard to make that decision. I'm sure glad we did what we did though. Living here on the north shore is so great....

I showed off my garden to PJ on the way home - sent him home with a few token veggies. I think he was impressed.
* Remember to go into the office on Sunday - meet with GB and pick up check.
Checked out the Animoto website - might be useful - try it some more.
It's aloha Friday today.... woo hoo!

Wow, what a listing! Gorgeous! Hey, I like the Animoto link too. I'll be checking that out. This is just wonderful. What pictures you take! Will they sell an acre?

Hi Deb - which acre would you like? haha Have a good weekend!
What a fantastic view indeed!!!! Absolutely breathtaking!!!!!!
Yes Hunter. I was impressed with the garden. Gave the lemon basil to QB too...
Georgina, you think I'm kidding huh...whoa. What a beautiful view. Yes I want it. Yes! Do you have anything as gorgeous, worth about a million that I could get cheap?? Don't you hate that question. But, if you do get any great deals and you're tired of buying them yourself just let me know. What a dreamer!

Come on over and get 'em while they're hot!
Georgina, In my Scottish ancestry "The" refers to the chief of the clan, as in Robert THE Bruce. I guess you are the leader of your clan.
That's a very beautiful spot. What is needed in the way of utilities and improvements in order to get a building permit?
Bill Roberts
Hi Bill, Thanks for asking - This site has Maui Electric and phone service, but no county water, which is normal for the area. A bulding permit would be obtainable by submitting architect approved building plans, a farm plan and an SMA form ( Special Management Area). The SMA form applies to all properties ocean side of the Hana Highway along the north shore of Maui. There is already a water catchment tank for fire protection, which would be a requirement for the building permit - the tank is shared by this property and the neighbor, and it's on the neighbor's lot (part of the common elements of the subdivision). An owner can build a main house of any size, a 2nd dwelling, and other building such as garage, barn, workshop, tool shed, art studio, etc.
