I have a new puppy! She's so adorable and cute, I just have to show her off......
It's been really hard to get any blogging done with a distraction like this. At least she is a very good puppy and after some serious playtime, she's ready for a couple of hours nap. Kona is now sleeping all through the night. haha. Since she will be an outdoor dog, we have transitioned her to sleeping in her DOGLOO already and she is quite cozy with a sheepskin rug in her little igloo house on the deck.
She came from a litter of 8 - from a home in Waikapu Maui. Both parents were Jack Russells, but looked quite different from each other. I think we got the best looking pup! : )
UPDATE - More cute puppy pics on AR. Kona goes to the BEACH! Kona goes to work with mom

How adorable! I love that really close up face shot!
Kona is so cute! I can almost smell the puppy breath! Great pictures.
I'm jealous. Here's Samson and Delilah when they were still puppies. Brings back sweet memories to me. Samson is 3.5 yrs. but still acts like a big puppy.
Samson, below, at the dog park at our Kauai Humane Society, in Lihue.
She's so cute Georgina! I guess I would be playing around with a puppy too...
Leslie - that face is in my face
Lara - your little one Kieran is adorable!
Ronnie - nice looking puppies!
Sally - she is so good right now, and soon she will be a devil-dog - hahaha
OMG cute overload!!! I can smell the puppiness from here! Lots of luck and love with the new furbaby.
Georgina - I'm in love with your family's new addition... what a face.
Kona looks very comfortable around a camera. Love how the ears tip forward! As she develops the boundless Jack Russell energy, I'm sure there will be times you'll both be ready for a nap.
Sharon - she's a furbaby alright!
Debbie - I'm amazed at how good she has been for a whole week
Brenda - I wonder if they have any more left?
John - she can go for really long walks already, and that helps to tire her out
Hunter-Its about time you stopped slacking and started blogging again...
Georgina, How cruel, making that poor puppy live outdoors. Dogs are part of the family. Would you make your kids sleep outside?
Bill Roberts
Pete you know I had a good excuse today.... all I could do was an old newsletter.
Bill - sure she lives outside... but it's in Hawaii and it never gets cold. Yes I probably would make my kids sleep outside too... haha.
Georgina - Those are some very cute puppies and what a cute blog. Get a load of the eyes on this guy, his name is Sam.
OMG what a cutie! Is that the "i'm sorry" look?
What a little cutie!!! I can understand why you have been away!
BJ - I just can't get enough time to do it all. Oh well.
Georgina, Congratulations on your new addition to the family. She IS adorable.
Gary - thanks for coming by and leaving a comment.
What a cutie! Congratulations on the new addition. Hope all is going well! Give us an update!
Darling puppies, makes me want one, but... not right now.
Teresa - OK, that will be my next post - a puppy update, a pupdate!
Mary - when the time is right, it's SO MUCH FUN
I've had pets all my life: dogs, cats, cows, pigs, horses, snakes, rats, mice, guinea pigs, chickens, owls, parakeets, parrots, monkeys, ants.... probably a couple of others that I'm forgetting. Right now I'm in a cat phase with Zoey.

Hey Georgina, those pups are simply adorable. They look like they will be tons of fun.
gEORGINA, Your new pup is adorable, congratulations. I am sorry to hear that she will live outdoors though, you and she will be missing so much not having her around as a companion. Dogs are social animals
Russel - Zoey looks so comfy in the paper bag - that's a cheap cat carrier!
James - thanks for the Kauai stats, I'll have to check out the same for Maui, or Paia
Pamela - OMG what a cutie-pie! How can you stand waiting until the end of the month? I suppose Pumpkin would be too corny of a name, but what a cute pumpkin he is.... maybe Pupkin!
Tanya - looking at these pictures now, I see she has grown a lot, but still so small and lovable.
Patrice - all our pets live outdoors, but we bring them in on supervised visits. Kona loves her playtime on the bed after her baths. And we spend most of our time outside as well, in the garden, yard (7.5 acres), on the decks, so we aren't missing much. The dogs get plenty of walks and other exercise. It would just be too nutty with 2 Jack Russells in the house chasing the cat all around....they can do it outside to their heart's content.
Georgina, Your puppy pictures are so cute, she is so lovable...I'm glad that she had a great yard, I just feel bad that they don't get to snuggle but the climate would make that better too...
Patrice - we get to do plenty of snuggling!
OMG are you in for it! I have JR that I have had since a pup and he is the terror of the boulevard.
Gayle - the 2 of them together burn off a lot of energy. I think because we live in an isolated location, they will keep out of trouble.... and never leave the property without a human escort.
Georgina,
The puppy is adorable! I just found the group EXPRESS WITH PHOTOGRAPHS AT ACTIVE RAIN and I'm having a ball reading the posts.
Mike in Tucson
Hi Mike! Glad you found the post - there's plenty of good photos in that group.
