Kihei Maui Hawaii - South Shore Condo Newsletter - November 2008

South Shore Condo Newsletter     -         November 2008

And now for something completely different... here are some desperate
sellers, short sales and bank owned properties on the Maui condo market.
Remember, the bank owned condos will be a quicker transaction.  In either
case, you can get a good deal if you are willing to do a little work
yourself - the sellers and banks are usually not willing to make repairs.

Georgina - wow - what great prices. I would love to have one of them, and when I am ready (in the future) - I will call you!!! I love that area, and cannot believe the prices. What are the HOA's?

Great post, and great prices!

Your pictures remind me of the paradise Maui is.  I've been to Hawaii several times, but not in recent years.  I know now, I must visit again soon.

Carole - I'm glad you think they're low - it all depends what market you're coming from

Sharon - HOA fees range from about $350-1000/month

Myrl - you can get some really good deals this winter season - occupancy rates are down

Impressive list for homebuyers...   but an unfortunate list, indeed.  I sure hope this market turns around soon.

Georgina good luck with these listings. I hope you find a few buyers with your online marketing.

Steve - yes it's true, but worth it

Margaret - one person's loss is another's gain

Bill - online is where I usually find the buyers

Thanks for your comments

Hard to believe the RE market dive has had an effect on such a beautiful place...

Dina - yes it's sad, people here overextended themselves too.
