Governor Linda Lingle has released $321,499 for improvements to public
health facilities on the Big Island and Maui overseen by the Hawaii Health
Systems Corporation, the state said today in a news release.  Funds will go
to Kula Hospital ($100,498), to complete upgrades to the hospital's fire
sprinkler system. The total project cost is $533,498. Construction is
ongoing and scheduled to be completed in June 2009.

Hi Georgina...Your pictures make me think of paradise except---------------------------------if I really have an emergency I would like to go more than 15 miles an hour on the way to the hospital.

That picture would have made a great on for Wordless Wednesday.  It says it all.

Kate - haha - if you went faster than that on the narrow bumpy road, you probably would need a hospital visit.  It's not really a full service hospital, but it serves the community that's far from the main one.
